New Plymouth Raceway   12 Jun 2026

GOING: H(10)

JESSE LANGTON BUILDERS 1400m

Track: HEAVY 10     Out 7m

Reasonable tempo with Jasper probably leading but a few others should keep him honest. DINK (6) looks ready to break through after another strong performance when finishing runner-up over 1300m at Cambridge Synthetic 9 days ago. Her turf form is just as good, and she is overdue to go one better here. DIPLOMATIC (1) resumed with a solid third at Wanganui over 1340m and is entitled to improve with that run under the belt. A wide gate is no help, but he should be right in the finish. KIT ZAKAT (7) showed ability when finishing runner-up at Wanganui 2 starts back and then she was not far away when sixth at Waverley last time out. This looks a suitable assignment and she has the talent to take this out. ZASHUBO (8) needed the run when resuming at Hawera but is likely to strip much fitter second up here on her home track. She is bred to relish heavy ground, and with the aid of a 2kg claim, she can figure in the top 4. KAY'S RUEBE (5) was a beaten favourite at Hawera last start when getting too far out of her ground early on. She can make amends in this, so follow your money. SUGGESTED PLAY: Zashubo each-way.
