Not much gate speed on show enabling Bridego to roll to the front. FINED FOR SPEEDING (1) back marker with his hoof on the till. Returned excellent figures when he came from near last on the turn to finish second over 1400m at Warren. Maps well and the extra trip will help his cause. REDALUCA GIRL (9) big improver second-up when she showed good gate speed to get across and finish a respectable third over 1450m at Quirindi. Can take control from the better draw and prove hard to get past. BONJOUR BILL (4) is holding his form and will appreciate a firmer surface. Battled late with the 59kg in the heavy conditions to run second over 1500m at Port Macquarie. Improver in this suitable race. ROCK'N ON UPTOWN (10) just under a month between runs when she went back from the gate and failed to get into the contest finishing eighth over 1400m at Taree. Look for a better effort on the home track. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 1,9,4,10.
