Off the inside draw Madison should boot up and lead at a solid tempo. RYDERS LEGACY (2) returns after a break following a dominant victory as a warm favourite over 1400m at this track in January and looks capable of picking up where he left off. A wide gate is against him, but if his astute trainer lines him up, then he will be ready to win. THE BLACK PRINCE (4) is a stablemate of the top pick who opened his account with an impressive maiden win over 1600m at Hawera last time out. Lightly raced and still improving, he has the scope to take the next step immediately. SHAMELESS BOY (3) was in the firing line turning for home before boxing on gamely for third over 1400m at this venue. He will be peaking third up, and with the aid of a 2kg claim, he should be very competitive again. BADGERINGDAWITNESS (1) resumes from a spell and he has won fresh up in the past. A recent trial will have him forward in condition, and any market confidence should be followed. BALLROOM BLITZ (6) cops a wide draw for her resuming run on her home track, and she can't be risked. SUGGESTED PLAY: The Black Prince each-way.
