Hot tempo expected with James Fitzjames, Roomformanoeuvre and Imaginable heading the charge. COASTAL PATH (1) has very good consistent form lines to his credit. He cost himself winning last time as he hung inwards in the final 400m. He has won three times, finished second once and third twice from ten starts over this course and distance. If keeping on a straight line, he can notch up his fifth-career victory. SILVERY SURFER (4) finished four lengths behind the top choice last time. He is 2kgs better off at the weights today and should finish closer as a result. IMAGINABLE (5) returns from a spell and is having his first run for Gavin Smith. The son of William Longsword is at his best over further, but he has the ability to be competitive in a race of this nature. KING'S SAILOR (6) stayed on well when third over 1300m on the polytrack last time. Chad Little retains the ride and if confirming his improvement, he should be figuring in the finish.
