GLOBAL IMPACT (1) ran on from last when winning his last time out over this course and distance when sent out at long odds. He would have come on from the run and jumping from the inside draw should be figuring in the finish. VICTOR HUGO (8) finished second of seven two runs back when resuming from a spell, then last start got up late when winning over 1200m on this course when sent out as the favourite. He takes on stronger rivals but is in a good space and should be well up to the task at hand.
