Plenty of speed engaged with Left Fielder, Shigeru Alegria and Cialdoni going forward ahead of Marukei Vesper and Escher. SHIGERU ALEGRIA (8) led throughout last start to score an effortless 4 lengths win over 1000m at Morioka Dirt. Has a formidable combination with Masatoshi Yamamoto who has been aboard for her last four wins. Best form puts her right in this. LEFT FIELDER (6) is a distance specialist who was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1000m at Morioka Dirt, beaten 2.75 lengths into sixth after being prominent at the bend. Steps up a level but he is capable of running a bold race. MARUKEI VESPER (7) is struggling to break through but hasn't been far away, the latest effort a fourth beaten 2.25 lengths over 1200m at Morioka Dirt. Racing well without winning and has solid claims on best form. CIALDONI (4) was prominent at the bend and finished second last start over 1200m at Morioka Dirt, beaten 1.75 lengths. Needs to be at her best to beat this field but she has the ability to mix it with them.
