PURPLE POWAHOUSE (3) ran on from last when second over this trip last time. He is at his best over further, but seldom runs a bad race, and he cannot be ignored. VICTOR RAIL (4) finished fourth and not far behind the second choice last time. He is 1kg better off at the weights today, and there should not be much separating the pair at the finish. GRIFFIN PARK (8) finished third behind the second selection in the race referred to above. He is half a kilo better off at the weights and should finish closer as a result. The blinkers seem to have done the trick, and he cannot be ignored.
