Strong tempo to be established by Georgie Get Mad, Too Much Caviar and Pure Alpha. Good little race to finish. KING ZEPHYR (5) has been a revelation this time in, winning all three starts impressively. He's put paid to his opposition at short quotes at his past two and the big track here over 1400m looks ideal. Up in grade but drops a bit in weight and profiles like a horse who can continue to rise through the grades. PURE ALPHA (15) presents third up. The fresh effort at Caulfield was good before an even effort out to this trip last time. Fitter again, he can roll forward and take beating. Wary of OTAGO (12) who resumes off a 14 month, injury enforced lay off. He looked smart winning his first two starts, then running fourth as a $3.70 chance to Riff Rocket in the G3 CS Hayes, solid again in the G1 Australian Guineas. Market best guide. IMPENDING LINK (14) can sneak into the minor money. SUGGESTED PLAY: King Zephyr to win.
