Moderate pace only with Rue De Royale leading Kalkallo. WONDER BOY (3) didn't have things go his way in the straight but still managed to finish just 1.7 lengths from Lazzura in the Group 2 Phar Lap Stakes over 1500m at Rosehill recently. Very fit and looks perfectly placed to grab a long overdue win. RUE DE ROYALE (9) led and gave a kick but could not hold out a dominant winner over 1300m at Sandown last start. Placed twice at stakes level last prep so if he brings his A-game a big run is on the cards. NDOLA (4) worked home well but never looked like winning last time out over the mile at Flemington. Very fit colt who gets winkers on for the first time. Might be the big improver. KALKALLO (8) always gives 100% so despite tackling his toughest opposition to date he is worth each-way consideration. SUGGESTED PLAY: Keen to be with Wonder Boy.
