Zarir and Duke De Sessa to battle for the leading role. ARAPAHO (3) has impressed in three runs back and set to peak for this. Gave weight to Vauban when nailed late to run second in the G3 Sky High Stakes over 2000m at this track. Adept in all conditions and capable of taking this out. VAUBAN (2) was a hot mess on the way to the barriers before launching late on resumption when taking out the G3 Sky High Stakes over 2000m here. Extra trip in his favour and goes close again. DUBAI HONOUR (1) tough William Haggas-trained stayer resuming with a good record in Sydney. Chased hard when a gritty second in the G1 Hong Kong Vase over 2400m at Sha Tin last December. Comes to hand quickly and maps well. WARMONGER (11) indicated he was back on track when attacking the line with the 58.5kg when second over 2000m in the LR Randwick City Stakes. Won a Derby at this trip and looks great value. DUKE DE SESSA (4) three of his six wins have come at this distance and has returned even stronger this time in. Will prove hard to run down. SUGGESTED PLAY: Arapaho in a tight contest.
