Novela should have enough pace to lead a low-pressure contest. NOVELA (3) worked hard early to cross from his wide draw, and while he couldn't threaten the winner, he never shirked the task. Strips rock-hard fit now and is drawn to advantage. Will take some beating. FUTURE COMMAND (6) has struggled in his last two but has been tackling stiffer opposition. Much better suited back at this level and looks the main danger. PIANTA (4) returns and makes his stable debut for the rising Bain & Taylor stable who do a terrific job with tried horses. Has been readied with Murray Bridge trial placing and can make a bright start. FOREVER WILD (9) lacks early speed but can cause them a late scare if they overdo it early. Keeping safe. SUGGESTED PLAY: Novela hard to beat.
