They should run this along with Rubilace and November Air taking it up over Darken. LEOVANNI (12) was beaten a lip over this distance at Bathurst, backed off the map and then raced a $2.8 favourite at Scone and may not have appreciated the deep surface. She's in a top Sydney yard and maps for a soft run. Shapes as the one to beat. Stablemate NOVEMBER AIR (13) resumed well-supported at Muswellbrook and didn't have the best of luck. Last preparation, she went close x3 at provincial level, and that form is good enough for this. BLACK BUGATTI (4) resumed over this distance at Goulburn and hit the line well beaten 2L. He can sit closer today and is still well shy of his best. Quick improvement is likely. Ditto with RUBILACE (10), who presents third-up and was only caught late at Kembla Grange last time (treated post-race for heat stress). She is back after 19 days and also has plenty up her sleeve. SUGGESTED PLAY: Going with Leovanni.
