PLATINA BAND (10) travelled just behind the leader before taking over and scoring a determined win by one length over 1200m here last time. Akira Harita stays aboard. Sure to play a big role. PHRONESIS (2) crossed from an outside draw last time to stalk the lead before drawing clear to win by a head over 1400m at Urawa. Will go forward and should be in the finish again. VANELLOPE (6) was in the firing line on the corner and finished second last time over 1200m at this track, beaten 3 lengths. In the right race and is a key runner. OMOISOMERU (7) did very well to fill a minor placing when resuming at Kawasaki but raced below expectations last time over 1400m at Urawa, finishing 11th and beaten 16 lengths. Well placed and should be about the mark.
