Anticipating a good amount of early pressure with many of these two-year-olds facing the starter for the first time. MYRIAD (5) settled back on debut and then ran on powerfully to finish third at Pakenham nearly a fortnight ago. He has an extra 100m to travel this time, and with the natural improvement that is expected second up, he is the one to beat. LADY LONSDALE (9) was doing her best work late on debut when finishing third. She has the blinkers on for the first time and also has Blake Shinn in the saddle. She should go close to taking this out. GRAMMY'S SUNSHINE (8) was not disgraced in Stakes company in her only start to date on debut at Flemington in the spring. She has won both of her jumpouts last month and should be right in the finish at the business end here fresh up. MALDINI (3) just battled in a couple of starts last year and would have matured after his spell. He has been close up in a couple of jumpouts and would not be a shock winner. SUGGESTED PLAY: Myriad to win.
