Genuine tempo from Polyvanova leading Elegant Indi. POLYVANOVA (7) looks a key player in a race that lacks speed and can roll across from the wide draw. She's had a few goes now, but she's among friends and she's much better than she showed last start at Albany. Gets back on top of the ground now and can shed the maiden tag. GINGER AND TONIC (8) has gone under her past couple by narrow margins and looks set for a bold effort once again. She rates highly on recent efforts and while she's back slightly in trip, she'll be finishing off strongly. ELEGANT INDI (11) gets Pike in the saddle first-up after ending her debut campaign in good order at Northam. Fitter for two trials coming in and she'll be right in the finish if she's improved over the break. TIVACISAURUS (1) is well short of his best trip, though he's trialled well and can be in the finish. SUGGESTED PLAY: Going with Polyvanova on top.
