A solid tempo from Dapper, Real War and Gorgeous Guy all kicking up to take advantage of their low draws. WISSA'S ON FIRE (1) was running on well when finishing second of 10 over 1000m on this course last time when resuming from a spell. He would have come on from the run and should strip much fitter. He will like the rise to 1200m and can go one better. INGQWELE (6) stayed on well when second of 10 over this distance at Greyville last time. His best form has been with Muzi Yeni in the saddle and racing in a fitter state is one of the leading chances. ALL THE TIME (10) last two starts over this course and distance have been good. Three of his seven career victories have come over this course and distance. He is having his third run this prep and having won in that state previously has to be considered. MAR DEL PLATA (8) finished third of seven last start at this track over 1100m and was then put out for a spell. He has placed previously when produced fresh-up and has each-way claims.
