Universal Hotness is the probable leader in the small field. SHOOTING SPIRIT (1) was a big winner two back before a 2.6L defeat in Saturday grade at Ascot most recently. He's back in grade today and stepping up to the 1200m is no issue. He'll get back from the draw but if he gets back to his best figures, he'll be storming home late in the race. BONDI PLUNGE (2) resumes without a trial coming into this, though she goes good first-up and Milne's is one of the best apprentices in the country. Should land close to the speed and if she's up to the mark fresh, she'll be hard to hold out. SIMPLY THINKIN' (4) bumped into a big winner first-up at Ascot but she was good from midfield there. Fitter now and she boasts a good second-up record. Can land midfield again and run over the top. ZOUBOLTZ (6) disappointed last time out, though his prior form stacks up well. Can be thereabouts. UNIVERSAL HOTNESS (5) trialled nicely coming in and won't be far away. SUGGESTED PLAY: Shooting Spirit can get back to winning form.
