The race lacks early speed so doubt they will go too hard. MONTJUIC MAGIC (8) had been showing talent at the jumpouts before a bold effort on debut at Cranbourne nearly 3 weeks ago when finishing runner-up. He will make the natural improvement second up and with Damian Lane in the irons this time, he can go one better. FOX MAN (4) gave a good sight in front at Warrnambool just over 3 weeks ago and was only bloused out late, finishing second by a short-head. He is knocking on the door and will pick up his maiden win at short notice. COOL CHARLIE (1) has changed stables since last racing in the spring. He has been runner-up in a couple of jumpouts at Bendigo and will give this a shake. JAHANGIR (5) had a tough trip on debut at Warrnambool and boxed on solidly. Include in all combinations.
