Finished second at Sonoda two starts back then scored by 5 lengths as favourite last time out over 1400m at this track. Sasaki Serei scored on him last time and retains the mount. Finds a suitable race and can make it back-to-back successes. MEISHO GUTS (4) is close to breaking through after three consecutive placings, the latest coming when second over 1400m at this track after being prominent from the outset. Drawn to stalk the leaders. Well placed this line-up and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. LAC PUER (5) has been racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid second at this track over 1400m. Distance specialist with nine wins and 15 minor placings from 33 runs and shapes as one to consider. MYTHOS ODE (2) ran below expectations last start, finishing fifth and beaten 5.5 lengths at this track over 1400m. Looks well placed so expect a better run this time.
