The Netball Queen has good early speed and can set a decent tempo. Very plain maiden. THREE WISHES (5) made up plenty of late ground to finish a close third on debut over 1000m at Nowra last start. Will appreciate the extra 100m and although she moves up to provincial level it is doubtful this race is any stronger. THE NETBALL QUEEN (8) led and gave a kick but was overhauled late when second-up over 1200m here last time out. Freshened up since that run 33 days ago. Fit mare who will be hard to catch. CIRCUS GIRL (3) debuts as a four-year-old mare. Went around in plenty of trials and jump-outs when trained at Lindsay Park. Now in the Karen Outtrim barn and hasn't been seen since arriving. Betting the key. NESS (4) is an Astern mare on debut from the Les Bridge yard. A couple of her trials have been okay - another to watch for any signs of market confidence. KAVAL (6) resumes. Has placed once in 17 runs but such is the quality of this race he is a top four chance. SUGGESTED PLAY: Three Wishes to win.
