Aratiri should spear straight to the front of the small field. Former NSW galloper MODESTY (2) just ran into one better when having his first run for the new stable and will have come on with that outing now under the belt. Should find this easier than what he faced down south and looks the one they all have to run down. FRENCH ENDEAVOUR (1) has been plying her trade in much tougher grade and will appreciate the drop back in company here. Watch for a far better showing. KADALL (4) has placed six of eight around this circuit and will be ready to peak now fourth run back from the break. Top-three commodity. TRAPEDO (8) doesn't win out of turn but is usually thereabouts and draws perfectly from the inside marble. In the mix. ARATIRI (9) is a last-start winner who shouldn't be slept on. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Modesty.
