Without an obvious leader, it may be left to Warrandyte Road, Cuban Lord and Eaglelou to control the tempo. HAMNER SPRINGS (4) has been knocking on the door for quite some time and is desperate to break through. Strips rock-hard fit and only needs to hold his form to be winning this time. EAGLELOU (1) was much better here last time when sent forward from his wide draw. Drawn much kinder, keeps Milnes and has run well over this journey before. FLYING ASSASSIN (3) was doing his best work late at Strathalbyn last time. Is 1/1 over this track and trip and deserves some thought.
