Kudos has the pace to lead in what is likely to be a moderate tempo. KUDOS (2) has been thereabouts this season, and he followed up a game run for second at Ruakaka with another tough effort for fifth at Te Rapa nearly 4 weeks ago. He will appreciate returning to a clockwise track, and he is good enough to take this out. WOLF GOD (8) finished third on debut, and then raced greenly in a far tougher field at Ellerslie nearly 6 weeks ago. Opie Bosson steps into the irons, and the pair merits healthy respect. Stick with him. CAMACHO (1) is a lightly tried 7-year-old gelding who resumed with a fair run for third in a 6-horse field at Matamata nearly 3 weeks ago. He strips fitter, and from the pole position, he can figure in the top 3 again. ARTAMOS (12) ran her best race yet when finishing third last start. Craig Grylls is back in the saddle, and she is well worth including in all top 4 combos. SUGGESTED PLAY: Wolf God each-way.
