Only a small field with Valiant Bomb likely to find a comfortable lead. HUSH HUSH (3) returned from a five-month spell and was far too good in a 1300m maiden at Kembla last start. Maher-trained filly who has only raced twice and should get better as the distances get longer. Stick with her. CASTAGNOLA (1) met with heavy support and got the job done when fresh from a spell over 1400m at the Kensington track last time out. Promising three-year-old by So You Think so an extra furlong second-up looks ideal. Big chance to go back-to-back. I AM WILD (4) was five weeks between runs when a respectable third in a similar race to this last start. Again races off a similar break. Starting to hit her straps and cannot be ruled out. VALIANT BOMB (5) has been handy on straightening but failed to finish off at his last couple of runs, both on soft tracks. Much more at home on a good surface so he will be hard to catch if those conditions prevail. AIR KISS (7) hasn't really fired in three runs this prep but is probably looking for this trip now. SUGGESTED PLAY: Hush Hush to win again.
