Reasonable tempo with a few going forward, headed by Paper Doll. The maidens kick us off over the mile. ABRAHAM (1) is unlucky to still be a maiden finishing runner-up at his past four outings and strikes a winnable contest here. Only needs some favours from the outside draw to be playing a major role in the finish. PAPER DOLL (6) is another knocking on the door of a maiden victory just running into one better in all six starts this preparation. Can shed the maiden tag against this lot. FRENCH RIVIERA (5) has placed two from two around this circuit and gets in well at the weights with the claim. Top-three aspirations. HE IS THE KISS (2) has had a stack of chances but is usually thereabouts and looks one for the multiples. SUGGESTED PLAY: Boxed Trifecta 1,6,5,2.
