Anticipating Adlerian to be prominent but one or more of the first starters should add to the early pressure. KIND OF BLUE (9) made progress last season, and is nearing that sort of good form again after finishing quickly for second at Pukekohe just over 3 weeks ago. There will be no fitness concerns fourth up from a spell, and the extra 100m is ideal. SCUTALONG (6) was a touch plain at Matamata nearly 3 weeks ago and is now ready for 1400m. Craig Grylls picks up the ride, and with some gear changes, he is ready to show something. Include. SALTBURN (1) probably should have won a race by now, and he was a sound sixth at Te Rapa 12 days ago. He will be peaking third up, and can figure in the top 3 this time. HE'S DIVINE (2) has been looking for more ground, and he gets another chance to show something over 1400m. He is strong enough this year and is worth including in all top 4 combos. SUGGESTED PLAY: Saltburn each-way.
