Loads of pressure, primarily from Golden Pavilion, Pas De Nom and Champonelle. FAIRY KNIGHT (1) is much better than his last start run would suggest as the jockey reported something to be amiss in running. He returns from a spell which would have done him the world of good. He is unbeaten from three starts over this course and distance. If not in need of the run he should find himself in the winner's enclosure. MERCANTOUR (2) is the stable-mate of the top selection. He is racing well this prep and following a last start third of 10 over 1400n at this track when well supported is expected to be figuring in the finish once again. CHAMPONELLE (6) is the winner of his last three starts, including last start over 1400m at this track when resuming from a spell. Jumps from an inside draw and is a main danger. GOLDEN PAVILION (7) has won his last two starts, the latest by a nose over 1000m on this course when resuming from a spell. Racing over a longer trip here and jumping from an inside draw has solid each-way claims.
