Genuine tempo with Istros leading the way. ISTROS (7) returns after a spell of a year. Looking to emulate his win at this track when returning from a spell last prep. Rates highly and should take some beating. CHROME NOIR (6) built on a nice third two starts back with success over 1500m at this track four weeks ago, getting home by one length. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he can win again. INAZUMA LINE (10) closed last campaign with back-to-back placings, the last of which was at this track five months ago. Form over this course and distance is solid with a win and three minor placings from five starts. Has claims on her best efforts. SMART NUMEN (8) ran a better race last start, finishing fourth over 1700m at this track. No surprise to see her in the mix.
