Cracking tempo with Buddleja and Amanatto leading the way. DESERT CLOUD (1) came home strongly to finish second of nine over this course and distance last start. She may have cost herself winning as she hung over the closing stages. Luyolo Mxothwa is in the saddle and she should go one better. GOLDEN ALEXIA (2) is having her first run for the Kelly Mitchley stable. It must be noted that the horse that finished third in her last outing has come out and won since. She finished second in her only previous start over this distance and she should go close. BUDDLEJA (5) finished third last start in the same race as the top selection. Her penultimate run when second over 1000m on this course was encouraging. Having her fourth run this prep and looks close to a winning run. NIGHT IN JAPAN (3) has placed in both runs this prep. The horse that finished second in her last outing has come out and won since. She is having her peak run today and with a bit of luck in the running after jumping from a wide draw should be fighting out the finish.
