Solid tempo with The Wolf leading from Lady Wardell and Change The Date. GODFATHER (7) is yet to strike through this campaign but is going better than his form reads. Will appreciate the cut out of the surface and interesting to note the blinkers go on first time. Bold showing anticipated. LADY WARDELL (8) produced a solid effort in town last start when sticking on for third after racing prominently. Brings the right form and has the talent to go close in this line-up. EMPEROR (1) didn’t figure last time at Eagle Farm after settling a mile back but that followed back-to-back wins prior. A strong finisher who will be charging late. Will prove tough to hold out if things fall his way. THE WOLF (5) has been racing consistently, most recently finishing a close second at Coffs Harbour. Has the early speed to secure a good position and should be right in the mix again. BADGERS NUTS (3) returns and will be hoping to pick straight back up from where he left off last campaign. Admittedly he faces a tough task but does deserve respect. SUGGESTED PLAY: Godfather to win.
