A solid tempo on the cards with Flamboyant Lad taking charge. ACELUM (1) resumes and is another winning chance for the Hayes yard. He was well supported in all three starts his initial preparation and has jumped out well at Flemington for his return. He will be naturally improved, and the inside gate can be used to advantage. FLAMBOYANT LAD (2) was eased out of it in a strong form race on debut, but was vet cleared. He resumes today gelded and won a recent Cranbourne jumpout. John Allen rides for the premier stable, and he has to be kept very safe. Stablemate GRASSBURN (9) settled back and did a good job to place at Sale first-up. She has more to offer and isn't out of it. BANGALOW ROAD (8) has been narrowly beaten at her last two. Maps to advantage, and the blinkers go back on again. Will hit this at peak and is on a quick backup. SUGGESTED PLAY: Going with Acelum.
