Expecting a genuine pace with a number of these pressing forward. ONO NO KOMACHI (3) stayed on nicely at the finish when second of nine over this course and distance last time. She takes a drop in class and S'manga Khumalo retains the ride. She should get a good run in the running and is the horse to beat. DARLING HARBOUR (5) is better than her last start run for seventh in the same race as the top selection. Her form prior to that outing was consistent, having placed in three of four starts. She may get her own way in front in this line-up and may be hard to peg back. HAT MONTERA (4) followed up her maiden win with a good second-place finish over 1600m on this course last start. She was unlucky not to have won as she was tightened for racing room at the 400m mark. She is in a good space and should be competitive. TAKE YOUR TIME (6) finished a close-up fourth over 2000m at this track last start. The saddle was reported to have slipped in the running. Craig Zackey is in the saddle and she should be finishing in the top-three.
