Moderate tempo with Nursery Chime leading the way. Competitive. TIERRA (12) just missed in the country first-up and then made a strong impression coming from the back at Sandown-Lakeside, beaten 2L over a mile. Brown sticks aboard the Maher-trained mare and stripping fitter she can take this out. ACTIVE DUTY (4) wasn't fancied over a sprint first up and has won a jumpout since. He's going to be much more competitive stepping up to the 1715m. Has strong numbers and presented on song, he'd be a live chance. IMAMANZOR (1) raced twice in town and then skipped over to Murray Bridge, narrowly missing in a 66. Maps well and should be in the finish. AMPHACTOR (2) will be more competitive than the form line suggests. He's had to cop a string of cruel barriers and maps better today. SUGGESTED PLAY: With Tierra.
