Plenty of pace likely from Wolf Island, Our Lady Rockstar and Stolen Show battling for the lead from Vinari. AZZUCCA (4) went close here first-up three back and was back on track her latest placing at Moruya. Has her first try over this longer sprint but doubt it will prove an issue. Maps well and will get every chance. VINARI (5) peaks and is likely looking for a firmer surface. Didn't get warm last time, but her effort on the Wagga Riverside prior was decent. Has the rail and respect the stable. WOLF ISLAND (6) was narrowly beaten at Forbes and will improve off that. The local needs a good ride but gets in well with the 2kg claim. HELIGAN (9) is ex-James Cummings and hasn't fired both starts this preparation. He's joined the Jarvis stable freshened up, and the blinkers come off. He showed enough at Seymour on debut to keep onside. SUGGESTED PLAY: Leaning to Azzucca.
