Plenty of speed engaged with Nordia, Speights Sage and Golden Isle going forward ahead of Dujac and Ignis Spiritus. IGNIS SPIRITUS (10) found the line nicely last start to get up for third over 1000m at this track. Sure to go well again. B B BASILIS (11) has put together back-to-back placings, the latest when a nose away in second over 1000m at this track when she was prominent throughout. Goes up a rung or two but she is good enough to figure in the finish. BELLE AUBE (7) pushed forward from a wide draw last time and sat just off the lead, eventually drawing away to score by 1.5 lengths over 1000m at this track. Solid winning hope. DUJAC (9) did a great job to score by 2 lengths over today's course and distance last start in a much improved run. Can go back-to-back.
