KING OLIVER (3) stalked the pace when resuming at this track and trip last start then worked to the line steadily to finish second, continuing a string of top-two finishes from last campaign. Has the gate speed to take up a forward position. Top chance. EARTH SPIRIT (5) was consistent when last in work, finishing fourth over 1600m at this track at his most recent appearance on March 26. Capable of playing a major role. SAKURA FLAVOR (10) made progress last start to finish third at this track after being prominent at the turn. Finds a suitable race and can build on that solid recent effort. MITSUKANE MARS (11) is back at the races for the first time since January 29. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last prep. Keep safe.
