MAGIC VERSE (5) stayed on strongly when finishing third of seven on a Stakes race last time out over 1959m at this track. He has won twice from three starts over this distance. He looks the one to beat. SUGAR MOUNTAIN (3) won a good race in his last start over 1400m. Two of his nine victories have come over this distance. Aldo Domeyer retains the ride and the pair merit healthy respect. SEEKING THE STARS (8) finished third in the same race as the above selection last time. Back in form he can once again finish in the money. MUCHO DINERO (4) is better than his last start run would suggest as he was reported to be not striding out. Having his third run this prep and having won in that state previously is well worth a second look.
