Good pace from Tanabata, Legend Ship and Tamamo Lamp going forward. WISMAR (11) closed last campaign with back-to-back placings, the last of which was at Kokura three-and-a-half months ago. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Sure to be in the finish. ZENNO INVOKE (4) came home strongly last start to finish second, beaten half a length, over 2200m at Niigata when fresh from a break. Leading player again. SILVER COURAGE (12) returns after a spell of 11 months. Looking to emulate his win at this track to kick off the last campaign. Worth plenty of thought. SASUKE (7) did very well to fill a minor placing when resuming at Hanshin but raced below expectations last time over 2000m at this track, finishing sixth and beaten 6 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time.
