Fitter again, and has a handy claim today. Draws inside, and he can go on with the job. GUNSHIP (8) led over longer here last time and didn't see it out. He missed a whisker prior, and the top hoop replaces the 3kg apprentice. He settles forward and should go close. STARS IN THE NIGHT (4) resumed with a near miss behind the above and then just missed in stronger than this. She's fast, and the 2kg claim brings her right into it. CORNELIAN BAY (3) went well first up against the above and is proven second-up. Has more to give, and the inside barrier should advantage. ALPINE BLAST (2) tries hard and may be the best of the rest.
