Solid tempo with Prospect leading from Become King and Maple Captain. BECOME KING (10) won his maiden over this course and distance last start, getting the verdict by half a length. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Looks well placed and he is a key runner. PROSPECT (9) pushed forward from a wide draw last start and kept going to win by 0.8 lengths over 1400m at this track. Oyama Ryutarou has won when aboard in the past and gets the ride again. Bold showing expected. MAPLE CAPTAIN (6) produced a reasonable effort when third last start after being in contention on the corner over 1400m at this track, beaten 2.5 lengths. That followed a win at this track the start prior. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. TAGANO ROBINSON (5) finished fifth at this track and distance at his last appearance nine weeks ago. Makes plenty of appeal.
