MONTE LEON (9) improved last start but found one better over 1400m at this track, beaten only 1.5 lengths. Suitably placed and anticipating another big run. HARUKANA NEGAI (5) has two placings from four runs this preparation, most recently finishing second as favourite over 1500m at this track after being well positioned to strike on the corner. Sure to be competitive. LUCKY DRAGON (3) was fourth over 1400m at this track at his latest appearance. Well placed to turn things around.
