They should roll along at a decent clip. GARRIX (3) is a classy sort who was not disgraced when third last time. He has been gelded since that outing which may have done the trick. He should be ideally suited to the 1600m and with just 52.5kgs on his back, he can return to winning form. RASCALLION (11) was running on well when fifth last time. He has won three times, finished second once and third twice from nine starts over this course and distance. He races well fresh and with luck in the running, he should fight out the finish. MAGIC VERSE (6) is better than his last start run would suggest. He is unbeaten from two starts over this distance. On his previous form, he should be right there at the finish. LET IT BE SAID (9) is a winner of his last two starts, the latest of which was over this distance at Durbanville. He is likely to race on the speed after jumping from his draw of nine and may be hard to peg back.
