Plenty of pace established by Marmelada, Asakusa Venus and Red Rostam, with Hakusan Eagle close at hand. GARZA BLANCA (11) resumes today after filling a minor placing at her only appearance last prep at this track over 1600m on January 26. Has ability and should be right in the finish. RED ROSTAM (16) has a moderate winning strike-rate but did a good job when returning from a break last time at Chukyo, finishing third and only 1.1 lengths from the winner at the end of 1400m when he worked home well. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. CEYLON GEMS (5) closed last prep four months ago when he finished 14th over 1800m at Nakayama Dirt. One of the genuine contenders. CLEAN AIR (1) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at Chukyo, finishing fourth and only 2 lengths from the winner at the end of 1400m. Sure to be thereabouts.
