Solid tempo likely from Rainbow Lucky and Mondo. TOA JOTO (7) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1200m at Nakayama Dirt, beaten 4 lengths. Ideally placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. RAINBOW LUCKY (4) raced once in the maiden preparation when sixth at Chukyo Dirt over 1400m back on December 7. Big chance with race experience now on board. KAMINO WA (9) was in the firing line on the corner and finished third last start over 1400m at Urawa, beaten 2.5 lengths. Tackling a deeper field this time but he is capable of a big run. MONDO (3) won at Urawa two starts ago but was below his best at a more recent appearance, finishing eighth over 1400m at this track. Nicely placed to bounce back.
