YAGIRI KEHAYA (5) was sent out favourite last time and scored by one length over today's trip at this track. Yet to miss the placings from three starts at this journey. Top chance. KENSHI RAINBOW (7) scored narrowly over 1700m at Funabashi last time out with today's jockey Yuki Yamanaka in the irons. Down in the weights this time so he is worth following up. DREAM JAPAN (8) stepped up to the mile for the first time last start at this circuit and after looking a winning chance halfway down the straight he boxed on for third. Takayuki Yano who has scored on him two times retains the mount. Likely improver with strong claims. ASA (2) resumes after a break of three-and-a-half months. Did win at his only other first-up run when on debut, scoring over 1400m at this venue. Makes plenty of appeal while fresh.
