Insufficient early speed to generate more than a muddling tempo. ROYAL HILL (5) raced in tougher grade in much of first campaign and finished off with two minors. Might want a little further but fitted with two trials for return and expected to go close. NATURAL LAWS (4) raced in NSW in first campaign and showed some ability. Gelded since and trialling very well for return in Victoria. Looks a leading player. VILLA ROYALE (9) was a close-up second fresh and will strip fitter. Looks a leading contender with a repeat. STORMRISER (10) also makes debut. Stable have a great record presenting youngsters on song and readied with a decent trial. Watch closely. SUGGESTED PLAY: Follow up on Royal Hill.
