From the outside draw Nekoni Kotatsu spears to the lead and sets a slick tempo. SILENT VOICE (7) reunites with Ryo Novata after scoring with ease over 1400m at this track last time. Has good early toe so he should be handy in the run. Best form puts him right in this. MJUK REGULUS (8) just missed last time when a nose away in second at Urawa over 1500m. Should be in the finish again. YOSHINO MITCHI (2) is close to breaking through after two consecutive placings, the latest at Urawa over 1500m. Record at this journey is impressive with two wins and two placings from five runs and is one of the prime contenders. SUMMER STORY (11) was safely held when fifth last time out over 2000m at Urawa, beaten 5.5 lengths, after a win here at the previous outing. Likely improver with top-three prospects.
