Solid tempo likely with Heff, Kennerite and Sorastorm prominent. Few of these are close to a maiden win. One of those is KOONDAKAARA (8) who is fitter for two runs back from a break. Both have been in richer maidens and fitter again for the longer trip. Expected to go close. HEFF (5) resumed from a long break with a fast finishing third over 1200m. Fitter for it and the extra trip is a big plus. SORASTORM (12) is going better than form suggests, the latest an on-speed fifth at Kilmore beaten less than two lengths. Will be in this for a long way. CREATIVE RIGHTEOUS (4) showed some ability in a two start first campaign before a good break. Fitter for two hit-outs and blinkers go on for this so don't underestimate fresh. SUGGESTED PLAY: Koondakaara looks ready.
