Solid tempo with Minogue, Buffalo Storm Cody and Tsar Bomba going hard, closely attended by Esquevelle. BUFFALO STORM CODY (2) was impressive when winning his first start as a gelding over 1200m on the Inside course when resuming from a spell. He took the lead at the 500m mark and drew clear to score with ease. He has plenty of class about him and should follow up with another victory. BOB'S YOUR UNCLE (9) rallied late when second of 12 over this course and distance last time out. He is in a good space and is one of the leading chances. NIGHT BOMBER (7) tired late when third of seven over 1400m last time. Progressing well and rates highly. MINOGUE (1) is better than her last start run would suggest. Her penultimate run when second over this course and distance was encouraging. She will be at peak fitness and should give the males a decent run for their money.
