Strong tempo from the outset as a number of them push forward, with Golden Alexia, Betty Mo and Doubleyouessbee leading the charge. GOLDEN ALEXIA (1) is better than her last start over 1600m on this course as she was reported to be not striding out. Her first two career outings were encouraging She gets the services of Siyabonga Mkhumbuzi and fresh-up from a spell she may be the one to beat. LAVA LAMP (8) ran a fair race on debut over 1450m on the Inside course last start when finishing fourth of eight. She would have gained from the experience and with the natural improvement that is expected has each-way claims. POTATO SALAD (3) was reported to be not striding out last time. Anathi Feni steps into the saddle and on her previous form, she can finish in the money. SASHA LEE (9) finished out of the money on debut two starts back when on debut, then last start finished seventh over 1700m at Vaal a month ago. This is a nice drop in grade and she is worth considering.
